Welcome to Part 2 of our “What’s on X Space?” recap!
In this blog, we’re unpacking the key questions raised by our incredible global ambassadors.
Whether you missed the live session or just want a refresher, we’ve got you covered. Let’s dive in!
The MVL lending protocol is based on the Morpho protocol, which provides a reliable and already-audited smart contract foundation. Instead of developing contracts from the ground up, we are integrating Morpho into our ecosystem.
Our blockchain development team, led by our CTO, is overseeing this integration and ensuring it aligns with our platform's requirements. The focus is on secure and efficient integration, leveraging Morpho’s proven architecture.
MVL's mobility incentive protocol is designed to reward drivers based on their contributions to the MVL ecosystem, particularly through TADA, our ride-hailing service. From the beginning, we adopted a zero-commission model, allowing drivers to keep most of their earnings, compared to the traditional model that takes 20~30% commission. This approach improved drivers’ livelihoods, increased their activity on the platform, and boosted the overall transaction volume
Our team is always exploring ways to integrate Musubi NFTs into the MVL ecosystem in meaningful and utility-driven ways.
For example, if an NFT holder—such as a Japanese investor—visits a region like Cambodia or Singapore where their vehicle is operating, and the TADA system matches them with that vehicle, they may be eligible for a ride discount. This type of utility concept could be considered to reward the holders.
Another concept we’re exploring is fractional ownership, where a single vehicle is divided into multiple ownership NFTs. Rental payments generated by that vehicle are then distributed proportionally to NFT holders. This approach lowers the entry barrier for investors, increases liquidity for the platform, and provides essential vehicle supply for drivers.
Currently, Cambodia serves as our comprehensive pilot hub, combining:
These real-world trials are helping us refine a scalable framework, which we plan to replicate in new markets by applying the same principles and sustainable vehicle ownership models to promote inclusive growth.
We understand the community’s interest in MVL’s price outlook, especially in the short term. Our approach is grounded in real-world utility and steady value capture.
TADA is already generating real revenue and profit in fiat currencies such as SGD and USD. ONiON Mobility contributes by manufacturing vehicles and supplying them to drivers, supporting TADA’s service capacity. Musubi connects investors to the ecosystem by allowing them to fund vehicles that are then rented to drivers, creating additional streams of income.
A portion of this fiat revenue will be used strategically to purchase MVL from the market. The tokens acquired through this process will be held in the MVL treasury, gradually reducing the amount of MVL in circulation. We plan to make treasury holdings transparent, allowing the community to track accumulation over time.
As more rides are completed, more vehicles are added, and rental activity increases, the volume of MVL buybacks will naturally expand. This creates consistent demand for MVL while decreasing its available supply.
Our mid to long-term target is to capture the majority of MVL tokens into treasury custody within five years. While this is not a short-term pump strategy, it is a solid, sustainable plan based on real product growth.
We truly appreciate the continued support from our Korean community. We understand that many Korean holders are seeking more direct communication and opportunities to engage, especially during this important phase of growth.
While we don’t have a confirmed schedule yet, we’ll take this suggestion back to the team and discuss it internally. Holding a Korean AMA is definitely on our radar, and we’ll explore the best way and timing to make it happen.
In the initial stage, drivers had the opportunity to earn MVL points based on their consistent driving and customer service ratings, which they could optionally swap to MVL tokens. These MVL incentives played a crucial role in addressing TADA's driver supply issues, enhancing overall service quality, and building a strong drivers’ community. Learn more about in this blog.
