MVL Fi terms and conditions

By using the MVL Fi Staking Product, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted all the terms and conditions outlined in this MVL Fi Staking Terms & Conditions (referred to as "T&C") and the associated documents. You acknowledge and agree that you are bound by and will comply with the terms stated in this T&C and the Documents. If you do not agree with these terms or the documents in their entirety, please discontinue the use of any services provided by MVL Pte. Ltd., including the MVL Fi Staking Product, immediately.

The terms and conditions in this T&C supplement the MVL Terms of Service, Disclaimer, FAQ, and any Agreements, terms, policies, or related trading services published by MVL Pte. ltd when needed(collectively referred to as the "documents").

For clarity, the T&C and the documents may be revised and amended as necessary whenever we need. By using any services provided by MVL Pte. Ltd., you agree to accept all terms in all updated versions of this T&C and the documents. It is strongly recommended that you read all terms in this T&C and the documents before using any services of MVL.

  1. MVL Fi staking product

MVL Fi Staking Product is a service that provides you with a platform to engage in decentralized finance (DeFi) projects. MVL Fi will allocate interest income from Staking Products according to platform rules. In consideration of these DeFi services, MVL Fi may charge Fees and a margin.

By using MVL Fi Staking Product, you agree and acknowledge that:

  • MVL Fi has the authority to stake your assets into smart contracts owned by relevant blockchain networks or protocols.

  • Once staked, MVL Fi may not have legal or regulatory obligations toward your staked assets.

When using MVL Fi Staking Product, you will agree to terms provided by MVL Fi, including:

  • Staking duration;

  • Relevant blockchain networks or protocols;

  • Staked assets;

  • Estimated rewards;

  • Reward calculation period;

  • Flexible Redemption availability;

  • Unstake availability with possible loss;

  • Token types for rewards;

  • Settlement timeline;

  • Other specifics as outlined in each staking product description on the MVL Fi website.

For clarity:

  • The estimated rewards shall be accrued and calculated based on the number of elapsed days over a 365-day year.

  • The estimated rewards will be shown on the MVL Fi’s open pool for each staking product and may change periodically and from time to time.

  • For Flexible staking, the estimated rewards will be received with your staked assets every time you withdraw the staked assets.

  • For Fixed staking, the estimated rewards will be lost when you withdraw the staked assets before the maturity date ends.

  • MVL Fi does not guarantee receipt of estimated rewards shown at Staking. Representations regarding potential returns are estimates, not guarantees, based on rates of relevant blockchain networks and protocols, which may vary substantially over time and differ from those shown on respective network or protocol websites or other sources.

  1. Risks & Liabilities

When utilizing the MVL Fi Staking Product, it is essential to acknowledge the inherent risks associated with digital asset investments and proceed with caution. You affirm that all investments made through MVL Fi reflect your genuine investment intentions, and you unequivocally accept the potential risks and rewards of your investment decisions.

In addition to the risks outlined in the documents, you may also be exposed to the following risks and liabilities by using MVL Fi Staking Product: - The Digital Assets you subscribe to may be lost due to various reasons: (a) exploitation or hacking of smart contracts on the relevant blockchain network and protocol, poor economic models, or any cybersecurity risks; (b) suspension, discontinuation, or termination of business by the relevant blockchain network and protocol; (c) extreme volatility in token prices on the relevant blockchain network and protocol, significantly impacting estimated rewards.

Your staked assets are directly placed into the relevant blockchain network and protocol, which are not owned or controlled by MVL Fi. MVL Fi cannot guarantee the safekeeping of such staked assets or the estimated rewards.

There are inherent risks associated with the relevant blockchain network and protocol, including but not limited to smart contract rules, protocol vulnerabilities, and the utilization of your staked assets.

Under no circumstances shall MVL Fi, its affiliates, or operators of MVL Fi Staking Product be responsible or liable to you or any other person or entity for any direct or indirect losses (including loss of profits, business, or opportunities), damages, or costs arising from or in connection with any of the identified risks. This limitation of liability supplements those contained in the documents.

  1. MVL Fi’s Rights and Controls

By using the MVL Fi Staking Product, you agree that MVL Fi will reasonably allocate and distribute interest income at its discretion.

MVL Fi reserves the right to temporarily pause or terminate the MVL Fi Staking Service and may suspend or discontinue the service in its entirety as necessary, without reason or prior notice.

MVL Fi may stop, suspend, or cancel your access to all MVL Fi services or MVL Fi platform, impose restrictions on your wallet addresses, suspend or terminate your participation in the MVL Fi Staking Product, or delay certain transactions under the following circumstances: 1) You fail to provide additional information requested by MVL Fi to verify your identity or the source of your funds. 2) You fail to comply with the laws of your country or your asset sources do not meet MVL Fi's legal and compliance standards. 3) MVL Fi is required to comply with a court order or any Applicable Laws (including anti-money laundering or sanctions laws). 4) MVL Fi is required to comply with a directive or instruction from a governmental body or agency. 5) MVL Fi reasonably determines that the information you have provided is inaccurate, untruthful, outdated, or incomplete. 6) You do not provide additional requested information to MVL Fi in a satisfactory or timely manner. 7) MVL Fi has reason to believe that you may violate any laws, rules, or regulations under Applicable Laws.

The MVL Fi Staking Product may experience delays, suspensions, terminations, or deviations due to network latency, computer system failures, or other potential force majeure events. While MVL Fi strives to maintain stable and effective service operations, no guarantees are provided, and MVL Fi will not be held accountable for any unintended consequences resulting from such occurrences.

MVL Fi reserves the right to amend this Agreement periodically, with such modifications disclosed through website announcements. No additional notice will be provided. By continuing to use the MVL Fi Staking Product, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to the modified terms.

4. General Terms

  • All terms and references used in this T&C shall bear the same meaning and interpretation as in the documents unless specifically defined otherwise in this T&C.

  • These T&Cs should be read in conjunction with the documents. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between this T&C and the documents, the order of precedence shall be as follows: first this T&C, and then the documents.

  • In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between this T&C and the specifics outlined in each staking product description, the details provided in each staking product description shall take precedence.

  • The T&Cs may exist in multiple language versions. In cases of discrepancy, the Korean version shall prevail.
